As a Community Relations Intern, you will support community programming for the REDBLACKS and 67’s, while collaborating with internal teams and external partners. The role is part of a post-secondary program requiring internship credits. Ideal candidates have strong interpersonal skills, professionalism, and a passion for sports-related community engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in planning and executing community events
• Schedule player appearances with community partners
• Manage mascot appearance requests
• Process OSEG donation requests
• Compile feedback for event impact reporting
Requirements:
• Enrollment in a relevant post-secondary program
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Interest in sports programming and events
• Experience in community relations is a plus
