Adecco is currently hiring a full-time Event Team Leader for Cirque du Soleil in Ottawa, ON. This exciting leadership opportunity is ideal for experienced professionals in hospitality, guest services, food and beverage, tourism, retail, entertainment, or event operations who are passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences.
As an Event Team Leader, you will lead frontline teams and oversee daily operations across various guest-facing departments, ensuring service excellence, operational efficiency, and unforgettable experiences for every guest.
- Pay Rate: $20.00/hour
- Location: Ottawa, ON
- Shift: 2 hours prior to the beginning of the show until the second part of the last show. Hours will vary | 5 days a week (subject to change according to the show schedule)

- Supervise daily event operations and ensure outstanding guest experiences.
- Lead, coach, and motivate frontline team members.
- Coordinate staffing assignments and operational workflows.
- Assist with operational planning and decision-making during live events.
- Handle guest concerns and support issue resolution.
- Ensure compliance with safety, service, and operational procedures.
- Communicate effectively with department leaders and touring management teams.
- Monitor team performance and provide real-time coaching and support.
- Maintain a professional presence in fast-paced, high-volume environments.
- Support continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives.
- Minimum 3-5 years of leadership or supervisory experience.
- Strong customer service and team leadership skills.
- Experience in hospitality, live events, entertainment, tourism, attractions, or venue operations.
- Ability to make effective decisions under pressure.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Smart Serve Certification.
- Cash handling experience.
- Inventory management experience.
- Crowd management or venue operations experience.
- Experience using radio communication systems.
- Mu st be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
