At Hard Rock Ottawa Hotel & Casino, we are hiring a part-time Cage Cashier responsible for performing various cash transactions with precision. You will facilitate financial transactions for guests, handling responsibilities like cashing tickets and exchanging currency while ensuring compliance with all regulations. A strong attention to detail and mathematical skills are essential for success in this fast-paced role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Process cash transactions accurately and efficiently
• Handle player account transactions while maintaining confidentiality
• Prepare balancing sheets and manage the impress bank responsibly
• Ensure compliance with FINTRAC and casino regulations
• Provide exceptional customer service to maintain positive relations
Requirements:
• High school diploma and six months of cash handling experience
• Previous casino operations experience preferred
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills required
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
• Bilingualism in French is an asset
