  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards (ASNPO), standardized month‑end checklists, and documentation requirements
  • Provide cross‑functional support across accounts payable, accounts receivable, special invoicing, and contract administration as required
  • Support ad hoc financial analysis and special projects for the Controller and Director of Finance
  • Act as backup to the Corporate Controller when needed, providing operational continuity and guidance to junior finance staff
Benefits
  • Work for a reputable company with a meaningful social mandate
  • Work in a challenging and rewarding work environment
  • Generous paid time off, holidays and sick days
  • Retirement plans with company matching of employee contributions
  • Employee discount programs, social outings and holiday gatherings

  • Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience, including hands‑on responsibility for general ledger reconciliations, month‑end close, journal entries, and financial statement preparation
  • 1–2 years of experience in an analyst or reporting‑focused accounting role, including variance analysis and management reporting
  • CPA designation, or active progress toward CPA, is preferred
  • Strong proficiency with Excel and experience working in an ERP‑based accounting environment; experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP and GP Report Writer is an asset
