The Lead Risk Analyst provides advanced financial and enterprise risk expertise to support complex export transactions and the effective execution of the Corporation’s Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Program. This role leads high-complexity risk analysis, provides leadership and guidance to risk professionals, and contributes to the continuous improvement of risk frameworks, policies, and practices. The role operates with a high degree of autonomy and professional judgment.

What you’ll be doing

  • Leads financial risk due diligence for complex export transactions, evaluation relevant factors and deal structures to ensure alignment with organizational risk tolerance
  • Conducts advanced financial analysis to identify, quantify, and mitigate risks, providing data and recommendations to strengthen decision-making
  • Reviews complex contracts and recommends tailored risk mitigation strategies, including security enhancements and risk-sharing structures
  • Leads execution of key ERM program components, including risk identification, assessment monitoring and reporting across the enterprise
  • Supports evolution of ERM tools and methodologies by contributing to continuous improvement initiatives that increase the maturity and effectiveness of the program
  • Provides functional leadership and expert guidance to team members and colleagues, offering guidance on complex financial risk issues, methodologies and best practices
  • Prepares insightful and actionable reports and briefings for senior management, highlighting key exposures, trends, emerging risks and mitigation recommendations
  • What you’ll bring to CCC

  • University degree in finance, accounting, business, or related discipline
  • CPA or CFA designation in good standing
  • 7–9 years of progressive risk management experience
  • Strong knowledge of financial due diligence, general risk management practices related to banking and/or surety industries, and international trade
  • Knowledge of theories and principles of financial management, accounting and cost accounting practices, and financial statement analysis
  • Knowledge of Enterprise Risk Management frameworks and best practices
  • Knowledge of office productivity software and databases, discipline-specific software, enterprise software, and technology devices
  • English Essential, bilingualism in both official languages is strongly recommended.
