We are excited to confirm our search for a Senior Accountant to join our team at a pivotal moment for CLV Group. This role plays an important part in supporting thoughtful decision making through accurate reporting, strong financial analysis and practical insight. You will be a trusted partner to property operations and a contributor to how we continue to grow, improve, and work better together.

In addition to the duties typically expected of a senior accounting professional, responsibilities will include:

  • Own end-to-end financial reporting for an assigned CLV property portfolio, ensuring accurate quarterly and annual income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Complete month-end and year-end processes, including reviewing journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and amortization schedules.
  • Monitor and maintain the general ledger, ensure all transactions are accurately recorded and reconciled, and keep the chart of accounts up to date.
  • Assist in preparing annual operating budgets and capital expenditures and provide variance analysis reports with explanations and corrective recommendations.
  • Complete property tax filings and recoveries by reviewing assessments, coordinating required documentation, monitoring deadlines, validating tax charges against lease terms, and ensuring accurate preparation and billing of all recoverable tax expenses.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and financial reporting standards.
  • Partner closely with property management teams to understand day-to-day operations and translate financial results into meaningful insights that support operational decision making.
  • Act as a finance business partner to operations, helping teams understand financial impacts, manage cash flow, and strengthen financial discipline across the portfolio.
  • Partner with maintenance and operations teams to report on weekly work order, renovation, and capital activity metrics, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
