Position: EDC Associate for Critical Minerals
Export Development Canada (EDC) is hiring an Associate/Senior Associate in their Canada Critical Minerals Accelerator team. This permanent hybrid role focuses on evaluating investment opportunities in critical minerals.

You will support essential projects that mobilize capital for Canada's strategic mineral supply chains. With 2-5 years of relevant experience, you will engage in financial analysis, due diligence, and collaborate with stakeholders. This position offers a chance to impact Canada's economic security positively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and structure investment opportunities in minerals

• Develop financial models to analyze investment returns

• Conduct due diligence with external advisors

• Assist in transaction structuring and execution

• Monitor and report on portfolio performance

Requirements:

• Degree in finance or relevant discipline

• 2-5 years experience in investment banking or project finance

• Strong analytical and modelling skills

• Proficient in Excel and other MS Office tools
