The Canada Critical Minerals Accelerator (CCMA) is a dedicated investment platform for advancing strategically important critical minerals projects across Canada. On behalf of Natural Resources Canada (NRCan) and the Government of Canada, EDC manages the $2 billion CCMA Fund, providing flexible financing and investment solutions while mobilizing private-sector and institutional capital to accelerate projects that strengthen the resilience of Canada’s critical minerals supply chains and enhance Canada's economic security.

CCMA is delivered by EDC, one of Canada's leading financial institutions. For more than 80 years, EDC has helped Canadian companies succeed at home and abroad. Today, EDC is AAA-rated, manages a portfolio of more than $130 billion, and serves nearly 24,000 customers across global markets.

The CCMA team draws on EDC's deep expertise in project finance and investment transactions. EDC's Mining and Metals team has supported the sector for more than 30 years, executing over 50 mining transactions representing more than US $7.5 billion in financing globally. In addition, EDC’s Investment team manages $3.5 billion in committed and invested capital across private equity, venture capital, and fund investments, directly supporting more than 200 Canadian exporters and investing in over 100 Canadian private equity and venture capital funds.

Position: Senior Manager / Principal, Critical Mineral Investments

Employment Type: Permanent

Compensation Details:

• Senior Manager (Underwriter 21):
  Offered salaries are based on qualifications and experience, and typically range from $180,000 – $225,000, plus a performance-based incentive.
• Principal (Underwriter 22):
  Offered salaries are based on qualifications and experience, and typically range from $190,000 to $260,000 plus a performance-based incentive.

Location:

• Export Development Canada operates in a hybrid work environment, with a current requirement of three days in-office days per week (subject to change).
• This role can be performed from EDC’s headquarters in Ottawa or from our Community Hubs in Toronto or Montreal.
• Relocation assistance is available for candidates who meet the eligibility criteria.
