Financial Analyst Budgeting and Forecasting

The St. Lawrence Seaway Management Corporation seeks a Financial Analyst for its Finance team. You will prepare controllable-cost budgeting materials, analyze financial impacts, and examine variances across actual results, forecasts, and reports. Your work will support monthly closing, internal statements, and informed operational decisions.

• Prepare tools, data, and documents for controllable-cost budgeting
• Conduct cost-benefit financial impact analyses
• Analyze variances across results, forecasts, reports, and operating costs
• Participate in monthly closing and prepare internal statements
• Support audits, controls, and financial risk management

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business administration
• Two to five years of relevant experience
• CPA designation obtained or in progress
• Knowledge of cost accounting and capital budgeting
• Bilingual French and English communication skills
