Senior Investment Operations Analyst

Apply analytical thinking to daily trade reviews at Wealthsimple, supporting managed portfolios through accurate order validation and abnormal order resolution. This hybrid role is based within Wealthsimple’s North American team.

As a Senior Analyst on the Investment Research Team, you will support portfolio operations and trade execution in a modern fintech setting. Your work helps review financial products and securities through disciplined, data-driven processes. Collaboration spans trading desks, investment operations, product, and engineering teams.

• Review algorithm-generated trades across managed portfolios daily
• Verify order accuracy before submission to the trade desk
• Resolve abnormal orders before trade submission
• Identify operational bottlenecks and systemic trading issues
• Streamline trade workflows with internal teams

• One to two years in portfolio operations
• Experience in trade execution or financial analysis
• Background within a financial institution or fintech
• Strong analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills
• Clear communication of operational risks across teams
