Canada AML Compliance Officer

Lead Lem Fi’s Canadian AML programme remotely, using FINTRAC expertise and regulatory judgment to protect a growing financial platform. Own national compliance from end to end.

As Lem Fi’s most senior compliance voice in Canada, you will report to the Canada entity Board and Global Head of Compliance. You will manage FINTRAC, build the RPAA programme, oversee filings, and support banking and payments partnerships. The mandate covers Canada’s AML framework, provincial regulations, and global policy alignment.

• Own and maintain Lem Fi’s Canadian AML compliance programme
• Develop the RPAA programme and champion implementation across Lem Fi
• Manage FINTRAC, MSB renewals, and Canadian AML audits
• Oversee STR, UAR, EFTO, and EFTI regulatory filings
• Brief leadership on AML risks, indicators, and programme health

• Three years in senior or management compliance roles
• Canadian fintech or financial institution experience
• Hands-on FINTRAC communications, registration, and renewals experience
• Knowledge of PCMLTFA reporting obligations and Canadian AML requirements
• Experience leading regulatory or independent AML audits
