We are seeking a Senior Advisor for Defence and Security to play a pivotal role in strengthening EY’s presence across Canada’s Government & Public Sector, with a focus on the Department of National Defence (DND) and the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF). This is a senior, market‑facing role combining account leadership, subject‑matter expertise, and business development.
YourKey Responsibilities Defence Sector Leadership & Market Presence
- Serve as EY’s client‑ and public‑facing SME on defence and the CAF
- Act as a trusted advisor on defence priorities and transformation
- Represent EY externally through media, conferences, and events
- Lead development of defence‑focused thought leadership
- Active contributor to our global defence and security ecosystem
- Build deep knowledge of defence clients and priorities
- Strengthen senior stakeholder relationships
- Identify opportunities to bring EY solutions
- Support account strategy and growth
- Work as a collaborative leader to support cross‑functional teams and stakeholders
- Shape and help deliver distinctive value propositions to help advance client priorities
- Work across multidisciplinary teams
- Support delivery teams with defence expertise
- Enhance engagement quality and impact
- Provide strategic insight throughout lifecycle
- High‑ranking experience with DND/CAF/NATO
- Experience as a strategic advisor
- Developing and publishing thought leadership
- Strong executive presence
- Strong relationship‑building, communication, and public‑speaking skills
