As the Director, you'll advance federal advocacy and policy priorities. Reporting to the Vice-President, you will craft compelling lobbying strategies, analyze legislation, and collaborate with stakeholders. This position focuses on representing small businesses effectively to federal decision-makers.
Key Responsibilities:
• Evaluate public policy developments affecting small businesses
• Prepare submissions and reports for stakeholders
• Drive the formation of CFIB’s legislative positions
• Identify advocacy opportunities within the political landscape
• Build relationships with government representatives
Requirements:
• Degree in Political Science or equivalent experience
• Proven government relations or public policy expertise
• Strong communication skills in both English and French
• Ability to manage competing priorities
• Knowledge of federal lobbying requirements
Your leadership will impact public policy for small businesses while working in a flexible environment.
