The Canadian Chamber of Commerce is looking for a dedicated Director to shape its government relations agenda amid significant national discussions. In this full-time role, you'll connect with government officials and industry stakeholders while crafting compelling policy documents. Your knowledge will provide insights that guide member businesses through evolving political challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
• Research and write in-depth policy advocacy materials
• Track and interpret political news across all government levels
• Support and lead government relations engagements
• Facilitate public meetings and round tables with stakeholders
• Strengthen member relations through strategic initiatives
Requirements:
• Educational background in public administration or similar
• Proven success in policy content creation
• Ability to communicate effectively with varied audiences
• Experience with senior-level stakeholder interactions
• Bilingualism in English and French is a plus
