Join AECL as a Strategic Communications Advisor focusing on Indigenous relations and government reporting. Build trust with stakeholders while delivering impactful communications strategies in a hybrid work model.
In this vital role, you will engage directly with Indigenous nations, coordinating meetings and reporting while adapting your approach to cultural and political sensitivities. Your strategic insights will play a key role in shaping AECL's public image and community engagement practices.
Key Responsibilities:
• Foster collaborations with Indigenous communities and nations
• Organize and execute important communications events
• Produce concise communications materials and reports
• Monitor and address emerging issues affecting relations
• Support oversight of communications activities within CNL
Requirements:
• University degree in Communications, Indigenous Studies, or related field
• At least five years of relevant communications experience
• Bilingual proficiency in English and French
• Strong interpersonal and time management skills
• Experience with large projects in nuclear field is beneficial
