NUPGE National Representative

Make a difference with NUPGE as a National Representative focused on advocacy for labor rights and public services. This temporary position requires expertise in policy analysis and community issues.
The role centers on critical areas such as child care, collective bargaining, and engagement with legislative processes. The National Representative will research challenges posed by under funding and assist in guiding union communication and responses. Collaborative work with committees and clear communication with NUPGE leadership are core responsibilities in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct research on public service funding and social issues
• Advocate for labor rights and effective policies
• Prepare briefs, reports, and educational content
• Organize and support committee activities
• Represent NUPGE in various forums and coalitions
Requirements:
• University degree or equivalent research proficiency
• Solid knowledge of the labor movement
• Demonstrated research and writing skills
• Effective communication with diverse stakeholders
• Flexibility to travel for work-related needs
