Strategic Policy Advisor at NRC

This continuing position seeks a Policy Advisor to provide corporate and policy advice across various levels, including senior management. Candidates should have a Master's degree and experience in policy documents, stakeholder engagement, and strategic communication. Your contributions will directly support decision-making processes at the NRC.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide policy advice to senior leadership and external stakeholders
• Assess and develop policy documents including Cabinet proposals
• Establish and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders
• Brief management on policy initiatives related to science and technology
• Ensure alignment with the Government of Canada’s policy cycle
Requirements:
• Master’s degree in relevant fields
• Recent experience in policy assessment and development
• Proven track record in stakeholder relations
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills
• Secret clearance eligibility required
