The Canadian Construction Association is seeking a Director of Advocacy, reporting directly to the AVP Public Affairs and Industry Practices. Your expertise will help develop and execute effective public affairs strategies, enhancing stakeholder collaboration and government engagement. You will influence key legislative outcomes through strategic partnerships while analyzing political trends affecting the construction industry.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement strategic public affairs plans for CCA
• Analyze political trends affecting construction
• Foster connections with public stakeholders and partners
• Organize advocacy events like annual Hill Day
• Advise on public policy positions and publications
Requirements:
• Degree in Law, Communications, or related field
• 5-7 years in government relations
• Proven experience in advocacy and policy development
• Ability to analyze data with statistical tools
• Bilingual in French and English preferred
