Senior ATIP Analyst

Position: Senior ATIP Analyst Contract
Contribute to national transparency as a Senior ATIP Analyst with our public sector client in Ottawa. This contract position, mainly remote, focuses on managing complex access requests under the Access to Information Act.

Our client is seeking experienced ATIP professionals with a proven track record in federal environments. You will be responsible for analyzing records, applying legal exemptions, and preparing detailed recommendations. The role involves stakeholder engagement and strategic compliance advice to ensure best practices in information management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review records for Access to Information requests

• Conduct consultations with government departments

• Prepare disclosures and briefing materials

• Maintain documentation of all ATIP processes

• Assist in improving information management practices

Requirements:

• Post-secondary education or equivalent qualifications

• 3+ years in the ATIP field

• Proficiency with Access Pro or similar tools

• Experience with environmental ATIP files

• Eligible for a Government of Canada Secret security clearance
