Manager, Agriculture Policy at FVGC

Become the Manager of Policy and Regulatory Affairs at the Fruit and Vegetable Growers of Canada. Play a pivotal role in advocating for policies that benefit growers nationwide.

This full-time opportunity in Ottawa requires a proactive candidate who will work with FVGC’s team to draft policy positions and responses. You'll leverage your communication skills and industry knowledge to significantly influence key agricultural regulations and support the organization's advocacy efforts.

Your role will involve both policy formation and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Formulate and articulate FVGC’s policy positions

• Respond to federal consultations effectively

• Analyze regulatory impacts on agricultural priorities

• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders

• Advocate for FVGC at industry events

Requirements:

• Experience in member-based organizations (5-7 years)

• Strong written communication skills

• Excellent project coordination abilities

• Knowledge of federal policy processes

• Proficiency in French is an asset
