In this full-time role, you will collaborate with the Department of Policy Advancement to elevate Inuit health standards. Reporting directly to the Manager, your role entails liaising with government bodies and Inuit Treaty organizations to improve policies and programs supporting public health. Your analysis will drive key recommendations and shape community-focused strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Produce detailed reports and policy papers
• Facilitate stakeholder coordination and engagement
• Identify and fill evidence gaps in health policies
• Conduct national-level policy analysis
• Train and mentor junior staff within the department
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in health or social sciences
• 4+ years of relevant work experience
• Strong knowledge of Inuit land claim agreements
• Exceptional writing and communication skills
• Proficiency in business administration principles
Utilize your skills to influence public health policies positively impacting Inuit communities.
