Your role is crucial in ensuring compliance within the fuels sector and enhancing public safety.
As a Public Safety Fuels Inspector for the Technical Standards and Safety Authority, you will engage directly with regulated entities to enforce compliance with safety standards. You will inspect facilities, respond to safety incidents, and support a culture of safety within the community. Your expertise will impact public health and safety while collaborating with a dedicated team committed to well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct thorough inspections of fuel facilities
• Address and investigate safety incidents effectively
• Guide stakeholders on compliance with regulations
• Document all findings and maintain accurate records
• Participate in training and share knowledge with the team
Requirements:
• Five+ years in the hydrocarbon fuels sector
• Progress toward or holding relevant fuel certifications
• Deep understanding of safety regulations
• Excellent analytical skills for inspections
• Valid Class G Ontario driver's license necessary
