Duties
Join an organization at the forefront of transparency, accountability, and privacy protection within the Department of National Defence (DND) and the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF). The Executive Director, Access to Information and Privacy (EDAIP) organization is responsible for delivering the Access to Information and Privacy (ATIP) Program, managing the full lifecycle of information requests from intake and analysis to review and disclosure.
Through its work, the organization supports public trust, open government, and the protection of Canadians' privacy rights.
The Senior ATIP Analyst leads the review and analysis of complex, high-profile access to information and privacy files while providing expert advice on legislative compliance, information disclosure, and privacy protection. The Senior ATIP Analyst collaborates with legal advisors, government partners, and senior stakeholders to resolve sensitive issues, interpret legislation and case law, and help shape departmental policies and practices. The Senior ATIP Analyst mentors junior team members and plays a key role in advancing transparency, accountability, and public trust across Canada's Defence Team.

The intent of this process is to fill nine (9) positions on an indeterminate (permanent) basis in Ottawa ON.Some positions will be staffed at Carling Campus, 60 Moodie Drive, in Ottawa ON.
