West Jet is looking for a dynamic Manager of External Affairs. This position requires in-depth understanding of government relations and regulatory affairs, alongside strong communication skills. You will represent West Jet's interests, support advocacy efforts, and ensure successful execution of partnership initiatives, all while primarily working from home.
Key Responsibilities:
• Represent West Jet at federal-level advocacy engagements
• Support execution of sponsorship and partnership initiatives
• Provide policy analysis and advocacy materials
• Facilitate strategic events and market announcements
• Draft speeches, presentations, and policy positions
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
• 6-8 years in government relations or public affairs
• Exceptional writing and research skills
• Experience in stakeholder engagement
• French language proficiency preferred
Lead external relations and drive West Jet's advocacy with your expertise in government and stakeholder engagement.
