Priority Patient Transfer is hiring 1 Part-Time Patient Transfer Attendants for our Ottawa ON Location
Your Role
You are responsible for the safe transport of patients via stretcher/wheelchair to/from a healthcare facility, nursing home, or private residenceYou can provide outstanding customer serviceYou have excellent communication skillsRequirements
Your Profile
You must possess the following qualifications:
You have a valid First Responder Certification OR Advanced Emergency Medical Care Assistant Certification OR are working towards a Paramedic Diploma (must be finished year
1) OR are a Fire Fighter with Emergency Medical Responder Certification (please note, we provide training for First Responder if needed)You have a Valid BLS Certification (please note, we provide BLS training if needed)You possess a valid G class driving license.You have the ability to lift 250+ lbs. using a stretcher or stair chair with partner.You can effectively communicate in both verbal and written English.You are a safe driver with a clean driving recordYou can obtain a clean criminal record search with vulnerable sector screeningYou have up to date immunization records and can provide the following records of: MMR, DPT, Polio, Varicella, Hepatitis B, COVID-19 (2 doses), TB Skin Test (Step
1)
* must be valid within last 12 month.You are comfortable with 12hrs shiftsYou have night and weekend availability if requested.Your Location
Base is in Ottawa ON so you will want to live nearby.
