Job Title: Sonographer
Employment: Part time and Full time positions available
Responsibilities- Conduct and evaluate ultrasound examinations for various medical purposes.
- Assist physicians in ultrasound-guided procedures and provide precise diagnoses through reporting and review of findings.
- Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment; participate in quality control and quality assurance tests.
- Report, review, and record findings of ultrasound scans to provide accurate patient diagnoses; consult with physicians as needed about ultrasound results.
- Perform ultrasound examinations (transabdominal and transvaginal) for infertility patients; 1st-trimester pregnancy evaluation; endovaginal scan; follicular monitoring; obstetrical scanning (early pregnancy); pelvic ultrasound for gynecologic patients.
- Work independently and contribute to team development and departmental goals.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Completion of an accredited degree/post-diploma Ultrasound program or equivalent preferred.
- CMRITO certified.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience performing and assessing ultrasound examinations, including proficiency in transabdominal and transvaginal imaging, sonohysterograms, endovaginal scans, follicular monitoring, early pregnancy obstetric scanning, and pelvic ultrasounds for gynecologic patients.
- Good judgment to ensure patient and team safety; strong technical skills and image quality.
- Effective time management, ability to organize work and set priorities.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and problem-solving abilities.
