Nepean Lab Patient Technician Position

Become a part of Life Labs as a Temporary Full-Time Lab Patient Technician in Nepean, ON. This position emphasizes phlebotomy, ECG processes, and exceptional patient service.

In this role, you will work various shifts, performing essential tasks that include greeting patients, conducting specimen collection, and maintaining client relationships. Key Responsibilities:

• Welcome patients and clarify the specimen collection process

• Conduct phlebotomies and ECG procedures efficiently

• Perform special test collections and document results

• Address patient inquiries and follow up effectively

• Record patient demographics and requisition details

Requirements:

• Graduate from a Laboratory Assistant program preferred

• Phlebotomy experience considered an asset

• ECG training is a plus

• Strong typing skills, a minimum of 40 wpm

• Excellent customer service capabilities and empathy
