Position: Skilled Physiotherapy Assistant for Residents in Long-Term Care

Your main duties will involve facilitating exercise programs and motivating residents to achieve set goals. Documentation of therapy sessions and monitoring of health status changes are critical for effective treatment. Help with daily activities and ensure safe mobility transitions for residents while maintaining open communication with healthcare teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct exercises for groups or individual residents

• Document treatment outcomes after each session

• Support residents in safe walking and transitions

• Monitor and report changes in residents’ health

• Assist with therapy application such as ultrasound and heat packs

Requirements:

• Graduate as a Physiotherapy Assistant or have equivalent training

• Experience in a Long-Term Care or similar setting is essential

• Police check for Vulnerable Sector clearance required

• Valid TB Test and/or Chest X-ray is necessary

• A reliable vehicle and driver's license preferred
