Priority Patient Transfer is hiring 1 Full-Time Patient Transfer Attendant for our Ottawa, ON location.

• Responsible for the safe transport of patients via stretcher/wheelchair to/from a healthcare facility, nursing home, or private residence.
• Provide outstanding customer service.
• Have excellent communication skills.

You must possess the following qualifications:

• Valid First Responder Certification OR Advanced Emergency Medical Care Assistant Certification OR working towards a Paramedic Diploma (must be finished year
  1) OR Fire Fighter with Emergency Medical Responder Certification (training provided).
• Valid BLS Certification (training provided).
• Valid G class driving license.
• Ability to lift 250+ lbs. using a stretcher or stair chair with partner.
• Effective communication in both verbal and written English.
• Safe driver with a clean driving record.
• Can obtain a clean criminal record search with vulnerable sector screening.
• Up‑to‑date immunization records: MMR, DPT, Polio, Varicella, Hepatitis B, COVID-19 (2 doses), TB Skin Test (Step
  1).
  * must be valid within last 12 month.
• Comfortable with 12‑hour shifts.
• Night and weekend availability if requested.

Parkout is located in Ottawa; candidates should live nearby.

• Competitive hourly pay of $19.50 per hour.
• First Aid/CPR Training and recertification for current employees.
• Emergency First Responder Training and recertification for current employees free of charge.
