Maplewood Evening PSW

Position: Maplewood Evening PSW Role
Become a Personal Support Worker in the evenings at Maplewood Retirement Community, working from 3pm to 11pm.

Your role is crucial in providing compassionate care to elderly residents.

This part-time position requires a Health Care Attendant or PSW Certificate and a proven background in geriatric care—at least two years of experience is preferred. Responsibilities include assisting with hygiene, supporting meal service, and managing any health-related observations, working closely with the charge nurse as part of a dedicated team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist residents with daily personal hygiene needs

• Deliver and collect meal trays from residents

• Provide accurate reports on residents' health to the RPN

• Record daily resident interactions and changes

• Implement infection control measures effectively

Requirements:

• Certification as a Health Care Attendant or equivalent

• Current CPR and First Aid certificates required

• Minimum two years of geriatric care experience

• Flexible and adaptable in a team setting

• Passion for improving the lives of seniors
