As a Support Worker, you will engage directly with clients, helping them access essential harm reduction services. You will work within a collaborative team while managing supply needs. Strong lived experience will guide your approach, fostering a supportive environment tailored to community needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support clients through assertive outreach efforts
• Monitor and stock supplies for harm reduction services
• Deliver educational resources on health and safety
• Promote access to local community resources
• Conduct client training on overdose prevention
Requirements:
• Lived experience relevant to harm reduction
• Knowledge of community health practices
• Non-Violent Crisis Intervention training
• CPR and First Aid certification
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Utilize your lived experiences to significantly enhance community well-being and health access.
