As the Ergonomics and Risk Assessment Officer, you will play a pivotal role in developing effective policies that meet health and safety regulations. With a bachelor’s degree and at least two years of experience, you will apply your skills to conduct assessments, train staff, and collaborate on workspace designs, directly impacting staff and client safety.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate MSD prevention and risk management programs
• Conduct ergonomic evaluations and physical demands analysis
• Investigate workplace incidents related to MSD
• Train staff on safety practices including Lifts and Transfers
• Collaborate with management to enhance workspace designs
Requirements:
• Degree in Kinesiology, Ergonomics, or Occupational Therapy
• Minimum 2 years in a relevant field
• Comprehensive knowledge of safety regulations
• Proven skills in program training and education
• Ability to effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders
