Air Liquide Home Healthcare Canada is a leading provider of sleep apnea tests, treatments, and home oxygen services. The Clinical Respiratory Consultant provides all respiratory services with a focus on oxygen therapy, clinical and ventilatory support, and collaborates with referring physicians to ensure patient safety. The incumbent delivers high‑quality, evidence‑based care, conducts full respiratory assessments, diagnostic tests, develops treatment plans, performs follow‑up, evaluates equipment, and maintains quality documentation.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting full respiratory assessments and diagnostics.
- Developing and delivering respiratory therapy treatment plans in consultation with clients, physicians, and care teams.
- Providing follow‑up to evaluate treatment effectiveness and client comfort.
- Assessing home environments for safety and performing equipment quality control checks.
- Obtaining informed consent from clients.
- Supporting business growth by liaising with healthcare professionals, providing information and product demonstrations.
- Maintaining continuing education and clinical best practice knowledge.
- Ensuring compliance with funding processes, documentation policies, confidentiality, safety, infection control, and equipment cleaning protocols.
- Registered Nurse or RPN/LPN where applicable.
- Licensed to practice with the provincial governing body.
- Strong cardio‑respiratory assessment skills.
- Valid driver’s licence.
- Clear vulnerable persons check.
- Ability to frequently lift up to 50lbs unassisted.
- Availability for a rotational after‑hours on‑call schedule.
- Previous experience in healthcare field is an asset.
- Fluent in written and spoken English (French if required).
- Working knowledge of Microsoft, Google applications and Android.

Individual compensation packages are based on factors such as skill set, experience, qualification and other job‑related reasons. The salary band starts at a minimum of $65,000 with opportunities for advancement.
