Position: Full Time Laboratory Assistant Float
Become a pivotal part of Dynacare's team as a Full Time Laboratory Assistant Float, focused on patient interaction and specimen collection. This role is essential for providing exceptional service and accuracy.

Working in a medical laboratory setting, you’ll be responsible for accurately obtaining blood samples and conducting tests. This position requires strong phlebotomy skills and the ability to put patients at ease during procedures. Regular shifts run Monday to Friday, and Saturday mornings are included.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct patient tests and collect various specimens

• Sort and manage samples in line with protocols

• Complete tests such as Holter hookups and drug collections

• Maintain accurate data entry for health requisitions

• Follow SOPs for proper sample handling

Requirements:

• Secondary School completion; relevant training recommended

• Strong customer service mentality and caring approach

• Proven phlebotomy skills under pressure

• High attention to detail required

• English proficiency for effective patient communication
