Registered Dietitian Inpatient Nutrition

Position: Registered Dietitian for Inpatient Nutrition
Join ARH as a Registered Dietitian dedicated to inpatient nutrition. Provide therapeutic diets and nutrition counseling as part of a collaborative healthcare team.

As a key member of the Allied Health and Ambulatory Services, you will assess nutritional needs and create individualized care plans. This role involves educating patients and families, consulting with Food Services, and participating in multidisciplinary rounds to enhance patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess nutrition needs for inpatients and create care plans

• Deliver therapeutic counseling to patients and their families

• Attend multidisciplinary rounds to ensure integrated care

• Plan nutrition services with the Food Services Manager

• Educate healthcare staff about nutritional practices

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree and dietetic internship completion

• Member of the College of Dietitians of Ontario

• At least 2 years of hospital or long-term care experience

• Knowledge of IDDSI and SGA an asset

• Strong skills in Microsoft Office and familiarity with Meditech/EPIC
