Shoppers Drug Mart is seeking a qualified Pharmacy Technician to ensure timely, accurate dispensing of medications and superior customer service.
Your role will involve greeting patients, managing prescription workflows, and referring clinical inquiries to pharmacists. This position demands attention to detail and adherence to Pharmacy Standards of Practice.
Key Responsibilities:
• Greet customers and gather prescription information promptly
• Dispense medications accurately and manage workflows
• Adjudicate third-party billing and cash out prescriptions
• Refer customers needing counseling to the pharmacist
• Manage incoming calls and faxes according to procedures
Requirements:
• Registered with the provincial licensing college
• Diploma in Pharmacy Technology
• Previous pharmacy experience preferred
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work efficiently with attention to detail
