At Cogir Senior Living, we are looking for compassionate Personal Support Workers to provide essential care to our residents. Your work will involve assisting with personal hygiene, nutritional needs, and documenting completed tasks during shifts. Building meaningful relationships with families and a caring team is central to the role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with daily living activities and mobility
• Record care tasks in the electronic health system
• Notify clinical leads about resident care changes
• Build rapport with residents and their families
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary care team
Requirements:
• Valid Personal Support Worker certification
• Basic Cardiac Life Support and First Aid certifications
• Current Vulnerable Sector Check or willingness to get one
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
• Prior experience in Senior Living is beneficial
