LifeLabs Lab Patient Technician Role

Key Responsibilities:

• Request information and guide patients through procedures

• Conduct phlebotomies and connect/disconnect monitors

• Manage special test collections and follow documentation protocols

• Enter patient demographics and requisition data accurately

• Prepare specimens for transportation and analysis

Requirements:

• Completion of an approved Laboratory Assistant program preferred

• Phlebotomy and ECG training or experience is a plus

• Strong empathy and problem-solving abilities

• Good typing skills, minimum 40 words per minute

• Maintain confidentiality standards in all interactions
