The specialist will assess psychosocial needs, create engaging therapeutic activities, and prepare patients for medical procedures while ensuring optimal development. Evening and weekend hours may be required for this impactful position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess psychosocial needs of patients and families

• Plan therapeutic activities promoting self-expression and understanding

• Develop individual treatment plans with the healthcare team

• Organize activity areas for various mobility needs

• Use medical teaching tools during procedures

Requirements:

• Bachelor's in Child Life or related field

• Two years' pediatric healthcare experience

• Current Child Life Certification (CCLS)

• Police Record Check (PRC)

• Bilingualism (English/French) preferred
