Join the Operational Stress Injury Clinic at The Royal Ottawa as a Clinical Psychologist, providing essential mental health support. This role involves comprehensive assessments and evidence-based treatments for clients facing psychological stress.
As a temporary full-time Clinical Psychologist, you will utilize your expertise in trauma and stress-related disorders to aid clients referred by Veterans Affairs Canada, RCMP, and Department of National Defense. Your responsibilities will include working within an interdisciplinary team, administering psychological assessments, and developing tailored treatment plans for clients with specific needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct diagnostic assessments and write reports
• Administer standardized psychological tests
• Provide individual and group therapy sessions
• Collaborate within an interdisciplinary healthcare team
• Liaise with community agencies for comprehensive care
Requirements:
• Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from an accredited program
• Registered or eligible for registration in Ontario
• Minimum five years in clinical mental health
• Experience with evidence-based therapies for PTSD
• Strong leadership and communication skills
