The Ottawa Hospital Rehabilitation Centre (TOHRC) specializes in the physical and cognitive rehabilitation of those who have experienced a disabling physical illness or injury. As a member of the interprofessional team, the psychologist will provide assessment, consultation and treatment to TOHRC patients.

The position is 5 days per week (1.0 FTE).

Days, 8 hour shifts.

• Doctorate from a CPA or APA accredited clinical psychology program;
• Completion of a CPA or APA accredited internship;
• Registration, or eligible for registration, with the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario with declared competencies in Clinical Psychology and Rehabilitation Psychology;
• Experience in psychodiagnostics assessment and treatment of patients with physical disabilities, including pain;
• Experience in group interventions;
• Ability to supervise/lead/coach/mentor
• Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively in an inter-professional setting
• Superior written, verbal and presentation skills
• Superior interpersonal skills
• Experience with word processing, spreadsheet and database applications;
• Eligible to work in Canada.

• Experience in clinical program development and/or program evaluation;
• Proficiency in English and French - oral expression (superior level) and comprehension (superior level).
