Position: Part Time Recreation Aide at Extendicare

Reporting directly to the Recreation Manager, this role involves planning and executing engaging activities for residents. Your past experience with seniors will greatly contribute to promoting enjoyable activities aligned with their interests.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in planning and organizing meaningful programs

• Maintain accurate records of resident participation

• Facilitate communication about events with families and staff

• Participate in team meetings focused on resident interests

• Support residents during scheduled outings

Requirements:

• College diploma in Recreation or Gerontology required

• Previous experience working with seniors

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

• Valid driver's license for resident transport

• Current Vulnerable Sector Check or willingness to obtain
