Part-Time Infection Control Lead at Arnprior

This temporary position involves managing the Infection Prevention and Control Program at The Grove Long Term Care Home. Reporting to the Director of Care, you will ensure compliance with IPAC practices and conduct regular audits and surveillance. Engage with interdisciplinary teams while leading educational initiatives for staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the implementation of the IPAC Program

• Manage IPAC education and training programs

• Conduct audits of IPAC practices and address non-compliance

• Perform regular surveillance and review results

• Lead quarterly IPAC team meetings

Requirements:

• Registered Nursing or Practical Nursing Diploma

• 3-5 years clinical experience in Long-Term Care

• IPAC Development Course Certification

• Knowledge of Fixing Long-Term Care Homes Act

• Proficient in Point Click Care and Microsoft Office
