As an Occupational Therapist, you will assess children's daily functioning, self-care abilities, and sensory profiles. This role involves crafting individualized treatment plans while engaging in group therapy and training programs. Additionally, your involvement in clinical research will drive innovative practices in pediatric health.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess daily functioning in home and school environments
• Develop coping strategies for self-care and vocational needs
• Provide individualized and group therapy sessions
• Collaborate on treatment plans with the interdisciplinary team
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives
Requirements:
• Graduate from an accredited Occupational Therapy program
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in Occupational Therapy
• Registered with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario
• Effective communication skills and interpersonal excellence
• Experience in clinical research related to mental health
