Bilingual Certified Athletic Therapist

Join our team as a Bilingual Certified Athletic Therapist specializing in orthopedics and sports therapy. This on-site role involves patient assessments and program planning to enhance athletic performance.

As a Certified Athletic Therapist, you will work directly with patients to evaluate their physical abilities and create tailored physiotherapy programs. Your responsibilities will include supervising technical staff, administering tests, and selecting appropriate therapeutic exercises. By maintaining clinical and progress reports, you'll ensure optimal patient care and outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer evaluative tests and procedures for patients

• Supervise technical and support staff in therapy sessions

• Select exercises and manipulations suitable for rehabilitation

• Plan individualized physiotherapy programs for athletes

• Assess and track patients' physical abilities and progress

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in athletic therapy

• Membership with the Canadian Athletic Therapists Association (CATA)

• Licensure by provincial or territorial authorities

• Experience in sports therapy is an asset

• Bilingual in English and French is preferred
