Deliver exceptional pharmacy services with Shoppers Drug Mart as a Pharmacy Assistant. This role focuses on customer care, prescription dispensing, and efficient pharmacy operations.

As a Pharmacy Assistant in a locally owned Shoppers Drug Mart, you will assist with technical functions in dispensing medications and managing customer inquiries. Your responsibilities will include greeting customers, gathering prescription information, and ensuring confidentiality during interactions. You’ll play a crucial role in ensuring a smooth workflow in the pharmacy while providing superior service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet customers and collect prescription details promptly

• Prepare prescription orders following standard procedures

• Manage cashier tasks and maintain accurate transaction records

• Assist in prescription preparation and data entry

• Refer clinical inquiries to the pharmacist immediately

Requirements:

• High School Diploma required, pharmacy diploma preferred

• Previous pharmacy experience is an asset

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Effective multitasking and problem-solving abilities

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and privacy
