Personal Support Worker in Long-Term Care

We are seeking passionate Personal Support Workers for our Nursing department. In this temporary part-time role, you will contribute to the well-being of residents by addressing their physical, cognitive, social, emotional, and spiritual needs. Work collaboratively within a supportive care team, utilizing your skills in communication and empathy to enhance residents' quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver personalized care plans for residents

• Assist with daily living activities and support emotional well-being

• Communicate effectively with residents and care team

• Implement Gentle Persuasive Approach techniques

• Ensure compliance with the Residents Bill of Rights

Requirements:

• Completed recognized PSW program

• Current CPR certification

• Good communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work in a team environment
