This Occupational Therapist role focuses on comprehensive, client-centred assessments and the implementation of personalized intervention strategies. You will work within a collaborative team to meet the physical and mental health needs of diverse populations, including children and seniors. The position allows you to engage in health promotion and falls prevention initiatives while supporting clients in navigating disability benefits and accommodations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Carry out comprehensive client-centred assessments
• Develop and execute individualized, occupation-based intervention plans
• Perform home and community-based assessments
• Facilitate chronic disease self-management strategies
• Conduct education sessions for clients and caregivers
Requirements:
• Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy
• Registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario
• At least three years of community-based practice
• Proven ability to work in interdisciplinary teams
• Bilingualism and proficiency in electronic medical records preferred
