Join Yee Hong Centre for Geriatric Care as a Personal Support Worker.
This role offers part-time hours supporting residents with personal care and maintaining their emotional and physical well-being.
This temporary position requires a focus on resident-centered support in a long-term care environment. You will engage with residents to promote comfort and dignity in their daily routines while adhering to organizational standards. Strong communication and customer service skills are essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist residents with daily personal care needs
• Support cognitive and emotional well-being of residents
• Report changes in physical or emotional conditions
• Adhere to care plan guidelines and legislation
• Communicate effectively with residents and families
Requirements:
• Completion of an approved Personal Support Worker program
• Prior experience in a long-term care setting
• CPR certification preferred
• Strong time management and initiative
• Ability to speak Chinese is an asset
