Provide dedicated personal care as a part time Personal Support Worker with Extendicare.

Your role will focus on supporting residents in their daily activities and enhancing their overall well-being.

Extendicare is seeking a Personal Support Worker to aid residents with personal care while working closely with supervisors. Key tasks include observing client conditions, assisting with mobility, and preparing meals. You will contribute to a safe and nurturing environment while addressing emotional and psychological needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist residents with personal hygiene and daily living

• Report condition changes to supervisors promptly

• Prepare meals and facilitate resident transfers

• Maintain a safe and clean living environment

• Work collaboratively with families to address concerns

Requirements:

• Graduate from Personal Support Worker program

• Experience in community health services preferred

• Strong written and oral communication skills

• Valid Basic Cardiac Life Support certification

• Commitment to obtaining a Vulnerable Sector Check
